"An ancient library leads you through a secret passage into a medieval alchemist’s mysterious lab, where you must find the four lost elements of earth, air, fire and water. Unite the elements and unleash the magical powers of the Philosopher’s Stone before the alchemist returns! Will you escape? "
Located in the busy streets of downtown LA, it is shocking to see the amount of space that Escape Room LA has for their rooms. Not only that, but they make great use of it and the detail put into the set can be seen from wall to wall. The enveloping theming continues with the "hint" system that is offered. You are joined by a silent monk that will nudge you in the right direction rather than explicitly give you the steps that need to be done to succeed.
Combination of the four elements is needed to escape and your team is faced with a wide variety of puzzles that are seamlessly tied to the theme - all of which will test your physical and mental wit. The integration of the room design and props to help solve the puzzles truly make you feel as though you are a master of alchemy. With the layout of the puzzles, this room becomes more of a divide and conquer room with enough to have every member of your group leaving feeling satisfied.
Although this room can easily fit the maximum capacity of 10 players, we recommend going with 4-6 to get a well-rounded experience. This may be a little tricky since the booking style is public and your group may be joined by strangers.
